  Kim Coco Iwamoto   Executive Producer
     

Kim Coco is a member of the Hawaii Board of Education. She was born on the island of Kauai. She was named by hotelier Grace Guslander - after the famous Coco Palms Hotel. Kim Coco's parents are Linda Toshiko and Robert Iwamoto, Jr. Her ancestors left Japan and immigrated to Kauai and California to work in the fields. Her grandparents, Robert and Florence, founded Robert's Hawaii as a mom & pop taxi service; today, Robert's Hawaii employs 1500 service industry professionals.

From her father, Kim Coco learned how to strive toward a vision and invest in people. From her mother, she learned “to give as much as we can” and that life lessons appear when we are ready. Kim Coco also has a family of friends that extend around the world. She understands how blessed she is and with that comes a responsibility to give back. Kim Coco has a lifetime commitment to volunteerism and community service. She is an advocate for serving the greater good.

Brent Anbe works full time for the State of Hawaii: Hawaii Film Office and part time as one of Hawaii’s Independent Filmmakers. His independent filmmaking began in 2001 upon completion of his Communication Degree from the University of Hawai‘i.

Susan Harris was a producer with Hula Girl Productions. She has a Bachelor of Journalism in Broadcasting and a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln (2004). Minors in Art and English.

  G. Michael Crosby, PhD, MPH   Associate Producer
     

Dr. Crosby has been a research psychologist for the past 15 years at the University of California, San Francisco-Center for AIDS Prevention Studies (UCSF-CAPS). Much of his work has been researching the behavioral aspects of HIV transmission among gay men.

  Ron Patricio   Videographer
      Mr. Patricio has been involved in all aspects of filmmaking for the past 12 years. His experiences include two national public television, Matters of Race and ColorVison, both which premiered last fall. r. Patricio's affiliation with the National Minority Consortia enabled him to to participate in the Screen Writer's Guild Workshop. Additional; affiliations include the Pacific Islanders in Communications and Native American Public Telecommunications, attend the Producers Academy in 2003. Other work experiences include: Splitting the Rock, Travel Channel, Da Braddahs, Ice Epidemic, A Legacy, Public Access, Cry for the Gods, One West Waikiki, Rae Renegades and Vanishing Sun.

Ms. Banks has a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television Production from San Francisco State University,1978, a Master of Fine Arts in Motion Picture/Television Production from the University of California-Los Angeles in 1990. Her diverse abilities and experience have ranged from University of Hawaii Specialist, Center for Disability Studies in developing training programs for Secondary schools in Hawaii.

  Amos Kotomori   Production Designer
      Mr. Kotomori has over 20 years experience as an Art Director, Production Designer and Director of Photography. He has received awards from the American Advertising Federation and the Honolulu Advertising Federation as Advertising Person of the Year. (1988). His awards include Hawai`i's Pele Awards (1983-1998), awarded in association with Hawai`i advertising agencies and photographers. In 1987 he was the recipient of the Clio Award in New York for the Jantzen Sport Catalogue. Amos has worked on many national film commercials for Sprite, Bud Lite, Ocean Spray, American Cruise, Bank of America, Stouggers, Sears, United Airlines, Hilton Hotels, Marriott, Kelloggs and others.

Lisa Asagi is a writer, media artist and creative consultant. She is the author of two artist books, Physics and Twelve Scenes at 12am. A writer of creative nonfiction, fiction, and poetry, she has been published internationally in magazines, journals and anthologies.
