Ms. Banks has a Bachelor of Arts
in Radio and Television Production from San Francisco State University,1978,
a Master of Fine Arts in Motion Picture/Televison Production from
the University of California-Los Angeles in 1990. Her diverse abilities
and experience have ranged from University of Hawaii Specialist, Center
for Disability Studies in developing training programs for Secondary
schools in Hawaii. Inclusive of writing manuals and creating training
videos for the DOE, Department of Human Services, and the Department
of Health. Sara served as a Technical Assistant Coordinator, PREL-
Pacific Resources for Education and Learning in 2001. In 1995-1997
she served as the Volunteer Services Manager for the Life Foundation
in Honolulu Hawaii. Since 1997 Sara has been employed as the Vice-president/Human
Resources Trainer of Wahine Builders located in Kaneohe Hawaii. Sara
has always continued her passion and career in film and video as the
owner of First Generation Video since 1991 to present. Specializing
in training videos, documentaries, PSA's and promotional videos. Sara
looks forward to collaborating with filmmakers as the new wave of
technology has allowed more homegrown talent to emerge from Hawaii.
