Jon began his extensive professional
career while he was studying fine arts at the University of Hawai`i
at Manoa. His fascination with photography led to the start of his
first professional venture, a freelance photography studio in Honolulu.
Jon specialized in advertising and fashion photography and soon
his natural artistic talent and creativity came to the attention
of some of Hawai`i's top ad agency art directors who recommended
that Jon study photography and graphic design at the Art Center
College of Design in Los Angeles.
While attending Art Center Jon accepted freelance photography assignments
from major record labels: MCA, Capitol Records and A&M Records.
On return to Hawai`i he opened his own creative design studio where
he continued to develop his talents and hone his skills in virtually
every aspect of advertising, graphic design and visual media. Jon
has earned an associate degree in computer graphics (AASCG with
High Honors) and has taught computer graphics and website design
at Commonwealth International University in Honolulu.
Jon was most recently the art director and lead graphic designer
at HonStudios, a small, creative design studio in Honolulu. His
personal creative design venture has evolved into Digible Dreams,
a digital multimedia production studio. The studio's name reflects
Jon's progression into creative digital multimedia production with
the addition of digital film, video, audio and music production
to advertising, graphic design and website design. |
