Elsa E'der has been an advocate for
independent media since 1993,through educational distribution at the
National Asian American Telecommunications Assoc. (NAATA) and exhibiton
activities through several San Francisco Bay Area Media Arts organizations,
including SFAAIFF (Asian American Film Festival), SFILGFF (Lesbian
& Gay Film Festival, Cine Accion's Latino Film Festival, Institute
for MultiRacial Justice's Shades of Power Film Festival and others.
At the progressive national satellite television channel, Free Speech
TV, she programmed works from all over the world. She has served as
writer or Assoc. Producer on independent video projects. As a poet
and social change agent, she has organized literary and other events
focusing on women of color and lesbians of color. She currently is
a freelance writer, is available for associate producing or indie
media consulting. Elsa's roots lie in Oahu, Hawaii's North Shore.
